Description
Cartridges containing various types of filter media are used to eliminate various substances present in water in the form of ions.
Depending on the type of material used, they can be used in the treatment of water to reduce the presence of suspended solids, ferrous particles, to remove the taste of chlorine or to remove arsenic compounds
All cartridges are assembled using a plastic housing that contains the filter media, plus a melt blown or wound pre-filtration section and post-filtration.
For these filter media it is periodically necessary to perform backwashing or regeneration of the adsorption capacity via a specific procedure.
